During the VFX compositing master, you will learn the industry’s standard techniques, from the basics to advanced skills, including working with green screen footage, 3D integration, and matte painting.
Each week includes 12 hours of lessons, with exercises and practical projects to apply what you have learned. The fifth week is dedicated to final projects and portfolio review, to prepare you for entering the industry.

You will learn color theory, green screen keying techniques, matte painting, and much more. You will be guided step by step to acquire the necessary skills to deliver your personal project and create your reel to enter directly into the world of VFX.
You will need a computer (with at least 16 GB of RAM) and a microphone. No experience in the field of 3D is required. Attendance at the masterclass is mandatory, and the lessons will not be recorded, but if you wish, you are free to record them on your own.

-History and meaning of VFX compositing;
-Overview of the VFX pipeline and compositing software;
-Basic compositing techniques, such as color correction and rotoscoping.

– Working with 3D elements and integration.
– During the third week, students will dive into 3D integration and camera projection;
– They’ll learn to work with various passes that make up the renders received from the Lighting department.

You will test your skills, and instructors will provide feedback to finalize your Reel.
Experience in feature films and TV series including: Ms. Marvel, Obi-Wan Kenobi (TV Mini Series), Spider-Man: No Way Home, Loki (TV Series), Watchmen (TV Mini Series), Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle, The Mummy, Ghost in the Shell, and many others. He has worked for DNEG, Trixter, Automatik visual effects, Technicolor, Outpost, MPC.
You’ll need a computer, headphones with a microphone, and a good internet connection. The minimum PC requirements are a Windows operating system (Mac devices are not recommended), a latest-generation processor (i7 or i9), an Nvidia Geforce GTX1060 or higher graphics card, and at least 16 GB of RAM, with 32 GB recommended.
No specific qualifications are needed: you just need to be over 18 years old and have a big desire to learn.
